Dr Seow Yu Jin
Senior Physician and Director, Dr Seow is trained in the Oxford Scheme in family Medicine. Dr Seow has vast experience working in General Practice as a family doctor in the UK and Singapore. Dr Seow has a passion for managing patients with Chronic diseases including Diabetes, Cardiovascular, Rheumatological and Respiratory conditions. His other interest is in managing the Elderly (along with their carers) with chronic complex medical, psychosocial problems.
Our Clinic
Wee Healthfirst Clinic is set in a mature HDB clinic estate and the clinic has been operating since 1980. This clinic was initially set up by Dr Wee Hong Neo, who provided patient centred care to her clients who were predominantly CHAS patients. This group of patients have remained under her care for thirty-eight years until her retirement last year.
The clinic has now been taken over by Dr Seow Yu Jin, who continues the philosophy of patient-centred care, where patients are known on an individual basis. The emphasis is more on relational medicine, where the clinic is viewed as the local family practice where staff are seen as part of the local community.
